The Department of Safety has released preliminary data indicating that 74 persons died on Tennessee Highways in May 2010. The update depicts fatality numbers by county.

We have added the new Drug Control Policy, issued by the White House to the public on May 15th, to the Resources section. One of the priorities is to reduce drugged driving episodes by 10% in the next five years.

We have added, in the Resources section, a file from the Department of Safety concerning DUI convictions posted to Driver's History.

If you get a call from the press or plan to speak at the Rotary, this file can provide conviction numbers for you.

Now available in the Resources section is the "Hardcore Drunk Driving Community Supervision Guide" a resource outlining probation and parole challenges, effective strategies and model programs. The guide was developed by members of the American Probation and Parole Association with the Century Council.
