The 7th Tennessee DRE class is being conducted March 8th to 19th in Clarksville. Nineteen officers qualified to participate.
The class has a 10 day curriculum, which includes one live Alcohol workshop and one videotaped workshop. The final exam for the course lasts an average of six to eight hours.
Prior to certification as a DRE each officer must complete 12 field certifications in the presence of a DRE instructor.
